Imam Jafar as-Sadiq has said that among the clusters of stars which we see at night, some are so bright that our sun, in comparison, is quite in - significant. Because of man's limited knowledge, many people during the Imam's time and centuries after him, considered this theory to be illogical, irrational and unacceptable. They could not believe that these small specks of light which are called stars, can have more light than the light of our big bright sun.

"Those who uphold the throne and those around it glorify in the praise of their Lord and seek forgiveness for those who believe [saying:] 'Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and have followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire. Our Lord, admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring. Surely, it is You who is the exalted in Might, the Wise. And protect them from sins.

he relies only on Me,

the mosque as his abode,
knowledge as his comrade,
abstinence as his companion,
the scholars as his intimates,
and the poor as his friends.

Sham e meraj

He the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, "On the night of Isra and Miraj (Shab-E-Meraj) when I ascended to the heavens, I saw an Angel who had a thousand hands. On each of his hands there were a thousand fingers, and he was counting something on them.

Hadhrat Qasim was the youngest son of Imaam Hassan (A). Qasim was born in 47 AH, three years before his father was martyred. When Imam Hussain prepared to leave Madina in the month of Rajab 60 AH. Qasim's mother Umme-e-Farwa asked Imaam Hussain to take her and Qasim with him. Imam Hussain agreed. Hazrat Qasim, although only 13 years old, had, like his cousins Aun and Muhammad, learnt fencing from Hadhrat Abbas and Hadhrat Ali Akber. Hazrat Abbas was very fond of Hadhrat Qasim.
